Arrangements have now been made with the local ringers, for the Railway Guild to visit four York towers, on Saturday 15th March 2025.
Itinerary is as follows.

Walk from York station to: (28 minutes / 1.3 miles)
10:30 - 11:30 – York - St Lawrence (8 Bells, 7-3-24) SE611512 / YO10 3BN

Walk to: (a gentle walk of 26 minutes / 1.2 miles)
12:30 - 13:30 – York - St Olave (6 Bells, 9-0-14) SE598521/ YO30 7DR

Lunch – own arrangements

Walk to:
14:30 -15:30 – York - St Martin le Grand (8 Bells, 10-1-23) SE601518 / YO1 9NA

Walk to: (a gentle walk of 7 minutes / 0.4 miles)
16:30 – 17:30 – York – All Saints (8 Bells, 7-2-2) SE600517 / YO1 6JD

Walk back to York station: (8 minutes / 0.4 miles)

14th June 2025 – AGM - location tbc (confirmation in future Wheeltapper);
13th September 2025 – Colchester and Sudbury;

Provisional arrangements are:-

Colchester St Peter (10:10 – 11:00),  Bures (ringing & lunch),  Sudbury Art Centre, Sudbury St Gregory, Sudbury All Saints.

Train Colchester to Bures 1143 arriving 1213 followed by ringing and lunch in pub opposite.

Train Bures to Sudbury 1413 arriving 1421 ringing at the 3 towers.

Train Sudbury to London Liverpool Street Station 1726 arriving 1844 with a change of trains at Marks They.
